[vtkusers] set TIF-images range .

Hello Everybody
I've a lot of 2D images in the tif format.Now I want to visualizise
them in a volume by java . I use the methods SetFilePrefix and
SetFilePattern to specify the file prefix and file pattern.
but it can read one slice only(the vtk version of me is 5.0.2). How can I
put the slices together ?

in that case the method SetImageRange be
uesd to specify the image range .while the vtkTIFFReader in the version
5.0.2
haven't the method SetImageRange ,which can be used instead ?  is there any
other solution ?
