[vtkusers] Quick Question on VTK and the Preferred OS

Well, we should try to poll vtk users to get a reliable answer for this...

2.  Which Operating System will make for the most straightforward

I always used Linux and I think is an easy and fast option because most of
popular distros, like Mandriva or ubuntu, have vtk packages and install the
libraries is as easy as typing a line on the command line like "urpmi
vtk-devel" or "apt-get install vtk-devel", and you have powerfull IDE's like
kdevelop.
