[vtkusers] Two questions about planes and normals

Hi friends,
               I have got the following two questions :
   
  1)Suppose I have got a tube two ends of it are arbitarily cut.I want to extract only those two ends.How can I do that?
   
  2)I have got a point on the tube and have calculated the normal at that point.Now I want to extend a line along the normal so that it cuts the other end of the tube and I want to get that point of intersection.
