hifirst of all thanks for ur email :)Here is in brief what I'm trying to do and on the basis of that kindly guide me whether I'm right or wrong.1. By using VTK , I have design a prototype i.e Pre operative surgical tool.2. Now, I need to do some advancement (for example Haptics ) and for Volume Rendering I will need to move on GPU programming etc.3. OpenGL is very strong and many libraries support OpenGl as u know. 4. However, I m confuse herer and want help. Can I use my OPENGL stuff (i.e in C) and call from VTK(C++). or Can i use directly OPENGL from VTK. As, i have gone through VTK and Yes it does use OPENGL. As u said "VTK deals with OpenGL for you". So, In Similar manner how can i use my OpenGl (u can say generic code in VTK)/ how can i use direct opengl code with my VTK code.I will so glad if u kindly clear my concept.
