[vtkusers] performance of MIP mappers

Hi Mark,

I know it can be adjusted via different opacity settings, but I doubt you
will find a general rule, since it is dependent on the number of planes
(volumesize & sampledistance) that are being used.

You will only find settings that fit to certain cases. I expect the internal
calculation needs to be changed.

PS: @jesús, since I’m answering the postings from website, I don’t have the
“reply to all” option, it opens up only with “reply to” (vtk.org)
