[vtkusers] duplicate triangles generated by DecimatePro

I am trying to use vtkDecimatePro (version 5.0) to simplify a surface mesh.
One problem I encountered is that the resulting mesh is no longer a valid
manifold, and has duplicate triangles.
vtkCleanPolyData can't resolve this problem (and actually vtkCleanPolyData
can also generate this problem).

Has anyone known a solution?
