SV: [vtkusers] VTK 4.2 distribution

Not necessarily very difficult.  But a fair amount of code written by somebody else will take more time and effort to port than I feel I have time for right now...
 
Thanks to Goodwin Lawlor and Andrew Dolgert for pointing me to the place to get the old version.

So what is it in the old version that makes it very difficult to port to the 5.0?
