[vtkusers] Clipping Polygons

The two pictures show my clipping problem. Basically I am displaying a whole
gas field and to help the engineers design a new well track I place a cone
where he clicks. The cone shows the places the deviated well can reach. I
want to switch off all gas reservoirs which cant be reached to unclutter the
view. I'm using Goodwin Laylors vtkCollisionDetectionFilter currently but
unfortunately its very exact in what it does so all gas reservoirs "wholely"
within the cone are deleted. What I need is gas reservoirs partially or
wholely within the cone. I'm playing around with vtkClipPolyData and a
vtkCone but can't get it working. Looking through the user group archive
this has been asked many times before but not answered. Any suggestions
??????
