[vtkusers] RE: stereo 3D glasses problem

Hello Fabian,
Almost all software that uses 3D graphics, is based on either OpenGL or
DirectX. DirectX is a Microsoft product and is only available for PCs,
which use ms-windows. Most games are written using DirectX. OpenGL is
open source and supports many operating systems. The VTK developers
have chosen for OpenGL, because VTK is also open source, and they
wanted to support different platforms.
So, if games are working OK, and VTK not, the first thing I would do is
to verify whether the software for your glasses also supports OpenGL.
