[vtkusers] Help: Grid over vtkXYPlotActor

Hi,
I'd like to have a thin grid drawn over a vtkXYPlotActor. The grid points
should match the axis ticks (you know, like in a Matlab's plot).
The vtkXYPlotActor seems to not support this (please correct me if I'm
wrong).
I thought I could do it myself but I was not able to figure out how to
access the
tick points calculated by vtkXYPlotActor.
Any idea or code example will be highly appreciated.
