[vtkusers] When is a quantitative output method call necessary in vtk?

I would like to display the output of the vtkMassProperties in Paraview, but
i am not receiving any feedback from the filter. I am not calling the class'
PrintSelf method, so should i have to do this?  how to I get around this
problem?
