[vtkusers] get length of vtkpolyline

Hello vtk-users!

I get a vtkPolyLine as an output  when I clipped a surface with a plane. If I render the vtkPolyLine it looks like an line or like a star but that depends where I clipped my surface.
My problem is now, that i have no idea how I get the length of this line or the length of all lines of the star?
