[vtkusers] binary write example

Hello vtk users,

I am looking for a simple example that writes a vtk xml file w/ binary data 
sections.  I do not want/need appended, endcoded or compressed output, just 
integer and float DataArray sections written in binary on an 32bit intel 
system.

If anybody has an example showing this or would be kind enough to show me 
what vtkXMLReaders expect to see in these sections I would appreciate it 
greatly.
