[vtkusers] vtkTubeFilter / cylinder with steps

Thanks Dave for your suggestion.I tried duplicate points that does not seem to work.I have another query. What is the easiest way to create a hollow cylinder with the end faces capped?

If you duplicate the point so it has the same location but a different scalar it should work in theory? but not sure how the tube filter will cope. Of course the new point will have to be inserted correctly in sequence with the existing points.
