[vtkusers] Clipping,Cutting,Croping --the difference!

Another question plz which needs a quick and short  reply:
What is the difference between clipping and cutting , they are described in
VTK book under different headings?
what we mean by clipping,cutting and croping precisely

may be a silly question but reply would be greatly helpful for me
