[vtkusers] .img and .hdr reader

These are probably ANALYZE format. Have a look at the Xmedcon library
(http://xmedcon.sourceforge.net/). The .img  is "raw" and the .hdr specifies
pixel/voxel data type and other metadata for the corresponding .img. If you
only deal with one type of these files, you can just read them raw, but in
general you need to read the header to know how to read the .img file.

Anybody has ever worked with .img or .hdr file?
I wanted to know if it was possible to read those image with VTK.

If not, anybody know where i could find the specification of such files to 
create my own reader?
