[vtkusers] volume vizualization with VTK

I would think that would be pretty slow.  On my Dual 2.0 GHz Mac G5 with
ATI Radeon 9600 XT a 256 x 256 x 124 pixel volume looks very nice, but
when I rotate it, it reduces greatly in quality to achieve interactive
frame rates.  I tried vtkVolumeRayCastMapper and vtkVolumeTextureMapper2D.
