I did not send that message. The same thing happened last summer:

http://www.vtk.org/pipermail/vtkusers/2005-July/080988.html

This is a member-post-only mailing list so someone on the list has a
virus that is faking messages from other list members. From the message
headers:

   Received: from kitware.com (ram31-1-82-234-76-233.fbx.proxad.net
[82.234.76.233])	by public.kitware.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id
21FAE423A4	for <vtkusers at public.kitware.com>; Mon, 25 Jul 2005 10:17:53
-0400 (EDT)

Received: from kitware.com (unknown [203.199.215.116])	by
public.kitware.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7AE8D1CF5B	for
<vtkusers at public.kitware.com>; Thu, 22 Dec 2005 08:38:07 -0500 (EST)

the messages originated at

   ram31-1-82-234-76-233.fbx.proxad.net (82.234.76.233)

and

   illchn-static-203.199.215.116.vsnl.net.in (203.199.215.116)

respectively and were posted to the vtkusers at public.kitware.com address.
In both cases the origin machine claimed to be kitware.com but the IP
addresses are no where close. It looks like this is probably two
different people.

If anyone recognizes these IP addresses please check your machines for
viruses and mail relays.

Thanks,
-Brad
