Unfortunately no...
And I am not a Java developer so I don't know how Java handle this.
The only thing I can tell you is to test another standard OpenGL application
and another Java OpenGL applet to see if the same problem occurs.

Yes, I have latest display driver for the graphic card (Gforce 5600 FX). I
tested the applet on my computer and three other computers, but I always got
the same error message "ChoosePixelFormat failed.".
Do you any further idea?
Perhaps some more details:
- operating system: Windows XP
- JDK 1.4.2
- Browser: Internet Explorer, Mozilla
