[vtkusers] Problem running Java example SpherePuzzle

Hi all,

My platform : RedHat Enterprise Linux version 3 running on a Dell
Precision 650 with dual Xeon processors and NVIDIA Quadro FX 3000 video
card.

My problem : The example SpherePuzzle.java under
VTK_ROOT/Examples/Modelling/Java compiles but has trouble running. The
window just freezes after showing the sphere and widgets and the following
messages are output on the terminal:
extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x255)!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x10255 > 0x255) in reply type 0x6!

I need to use VTK and Java to create programs that let you pick and move
graphics object as done in this example. Some help in fixing what's going
wrong would be very helpful.
