[vtkusers] 1)How to reslice a volume?, 2) How to do volume rendering?

Hello Everyone!
 
I am a beginner in VTK, and currently developing a medical application.
I have 2 major questions:
 
1)
I need to compute the intersections of a volume, given 3 orthogonal planes (ex: sagittal, coronal, axial)
 
I also need to update (recompute) these intersections, when I rotate the volume (I don't rotate the 3 planes OR I rotate only the 3 planes, but not the volume).
 
I mention the I have read the doumentation of class vtkImageReslice, and tested most of the examples.
 
2) How to do volume rendering of the whole volume, not just extracting some surfaces? (I used vtkContourFilter until now)
 
Can anyone give me some examples? Any suggestion is also appreciated.
