[vtkusers] extract Volume of interest

vtkImageReader->SetDataVOI() should help you read the volume of interest.

Did you mean to display XY, YZ and XZ views (Axial, sagittal and coronol
views)?  If so, you can use vtkImagePlaneWidget.
