Thanks everyone for the help. I think I had configured something wrong when I used the binary version of 4.2, so I built my own vtk and got all of the tcl files that I needed. Also, I had been doing the backward slashes--and I switched those to forward slashes. I can run tcl programs from the tclsh now! :) Katherine Kerekes
