Could you be more specific about which warning message you don't want to
see?  Are you trying to build VTK, and you don't want to see the
compiler warnings?  Are you running VTK and it is warning you about
something?  The solution depends on what kind of warning is bothering
you.  For example, some warnings from vtkDecimate can be suppressed by
SetMaximumNumberOfSquawks (0).

After reading "How to Ask Questions the Smart Way" (thanks again to
Prabhu for the link), I find that I not only ask better questions, but
also do a better job of troubleshooting on my own.  I think the link
Prabhu originally cited no longer works, but this one seems to be the
