[vtkusers] strange rotation behavior in vtk/c++

Hi,

I'm on a redhat 7.3 platform.

When I run a simple sphere or cylinder example, such as is provided in the
source, the sphere (or cylinder) pops up, and does rotate and zoom, etc.

However, when it rotates, sometimes it gets "stuck" and stops rotating,
then I move the mouse around and it starts rotating again. Part of the
reason I'm switching to vtk with c++ is that I need fast, smooth rotation
and zooming of complex objects.

thanks for any help,
-Galen
