Check the page 27 of the book "Visualization Toolkit - User's Guide. It says:
Almost all process objects in the imaging pipeline are multithreaded, and are
capable of streaming data in pieces. Filters automatically sense the number of
processors available on the system and creates that number of threads during
execution, as well as automatically separating data into pieces that are steamed
through the pipleline. ...

Hi,
I was wondering if vtk was supporting multiple processors (more than 2)?
If yes, is there a starting point where I can find information (if it exist!) to
make a PC having more than 2 processors!!!?
I know you can share data among a lan and render huge volume data, but my point
is to make a PC be a powerfull image standalone station. Am I dreaming?
