[vtkusers] PYTHON_UTIL_LIBRARY-NOTFOUND

Greetings,
I'm trying to build VTK w/ Python support under MacOS 10.2.3.  When I edit the CMakeCache.txt file, I've noticed a line that reads 

//Utility library needed for vtkpython
PYTHON_UTIL_LIBRARY:FILEPATH=PYTHON_UTIL_LIBRARY-NOTFOUND

Is this library nessacary for appropriate functioning of the vtk Python wrapping?  Is this a library I can download for my python installation, or alternatively, does someone out there know the name of this library so I can search for it?  Thanks for any input.
