[vtkusers] vtkScalars

Hiya all,

I have a structured grid and tried to assign scalars to the points
Here are the questions:
#1 I searched the archives on how to do this and found an old topic that 
used vtkScalars but I believe that class doesn't exist in 4.0 anymore.
      Should I use vtkFloatArray instead or any better idea?
#2 Any hint how can i color my field based on these values? haven't 
worked with struct.grid before
