[vtkusers] vtkTextMapper question

Hi,

has anyone managed to get vtkTextMapper working under MacOSX Jaguar? 
The text mapper and also the text on vtkScalarBarActor do not display. 
The code doesn't crash, just does absolutely nothing.

I'm using the code from vtkScalarBarActor.tcl, just translated it to 
C++ and ran. Everything comes out fine, except the text, which just 
doesn't appear at all.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
