[vtkusers] Mac OSX and VTK 4.0 question

hey,
im sorry, look, my initial comments were based on
ignorance etc, and the fact that when i first got VTK4,
either it came with CMake version 1.0 or i went off and got
CMake and the latest version at the time was version 1.0
And it seemed a bit silly for VTK to start using this CMake
thing, when almost noone else uses CMake, and when it
was only at version 1.0 and was thus likely to be a bit of an
untested and possibly in the near future unsupported
product, if development on it stopped or stalled as it does
on a lot of open source projects.
It also annoyed me that other Unix software, including
huge projects etc get by fine with normal configure, autoconf,
GNU make, etc. And now here is VTK using this newfangled
CMake thing. I was unaware of the fact that CMake helps
with cross-platform development, as it is able to generate
makefiles etc for Windows compilers as well as Unixes.
And now CMake is at 1.4.3 i would expect it to be a
more reliable thing, so ok, CMake is great, and will be even
better when it works properly on MacOS X.
So, sorry i shot my mouth off. One day ill learn :)
