[vtkusers] rendering time

I'm new to vtk.  I am rendering my graphics window many times, and the time
to perform the rendering is longer each time I render the window.  I update
my graphics about 60 to 100 times each session.  why is this occurring and
how can I eliminate this?  thank you.  -Gary
