[vtkusers] vtk3.2 to vtk4

I have been using vtk3.2 to create 3D surface rendering of medical images. Now I am trying to upgrade all my software to use the vtk4 libraries. After applying a few changes I managed to create vtkStructuredPointsSource correctly (vtkScalars problem). However, the final result looks different. The images are sometimes distorted (torn) even though we use the same procedure as the previous designs (with vtk3).     
could you please help me ;
