[vtkusers] How to get the projection of a 3d object on a given plane?

Hi everybody,
   I created an ISO surface using marching cubes.I want to project it onto 
a given plane and retrieve the 2D border of the projection.How to get the 
projection of a 3d object on a given plane?
   By the way,how to get the intersection of the ISOSurface and a given 
plane?
   Any help will be highly appreciated!
