[vtkusers] Iso-Surfacing with vtk

Hello,
I am using the vtk isosurface raycast function as well as the iso-surface triangulator. There is a specific class of
3-D images where the iso-surface passes the upper and lower
frame. Of course this cannot be realized if the function is not informed about a virtual background intensity. May
be it is useful to enable the user to specify a start value
in order to have closed surfaces also in this case.

Or does anything like this exist?
