Hi Ralf,
Im trying to use two polygon model to cut another polygon model.
For instance. I have a model of a car, if I create a surface that
intersects
the car, can i use the car as an implisit function to cut a carshaped
hole
in the surface?
I have C++ code for a vtk class that will treat a polygonal surface as an
implicit surface. It seems to work OK, with some issues. Let me know if you
want it and I will send it to you.
regards
Dave Pont

Subject: [vtkusers] Rendering Volume data
Hello,
I have a volume data whose data points density (Not the density value of
the
data) decreases radially. Something like a log-polar plot in 3D. Can anyone
tell me how to render it. What data structure to use to represent the data.
And also how to vary the sampling distance in the raycastmapper at
different
points for the same data.
Thanks in Advance.
