Hi,

I have implemented a threaded version of vtkMarchingCubes. VTK 4.n

- I would like to know if anyone is interested in using it (within the usual patent restrictions).

- If there is enough interest I will contact kitware to figure out what if any issues have to be addressed with regards to the patent on vtkMarchingCubes and weather or not they want it added to the vtk source.

- Further, in python I have a script that loads the image file locally, sends it to a remote marching cubes server on a multiprocessor machine and returns an iso surface. If there is interest in adding this feature in C++ let me know since I need it for my own applications anyway.


- vtkContourFilterThreaded to follow in a few days.
