[vtkusers] image basics

Dear list members,

I am new in vtk and have got a simple question.

Exists somewhere an example of displaying a 2D-image which you
can zoom and pan ?

If the user interaction is supported only via mouse or scrollbars 
and buttons is not so important for me.

I looked at the handbook's CD but could not find code where I find a
solution. 


I would be appreciated if somebody could help me,
