about this problem I had similar case.
Lisa has answered this question before you can have a look to the post (last two-three months)
 in case I think this bit is useful 4u. 

"Generally this error occurs when you are zoomed out too far from a volume. 
The VolumePro 1000 has a limitation on how far apart (in voxels) two 
neighbouring rays can be - if you decrease your window size and/or zoom out 
farther from the volume you will exceed this limit which will cause the 
error message."

also check your parameter if you use raycasting (without volumepro).

Hi

I'm working on a program which uses vtk for rendering. In most cases it =
works fine, but in one large case, when it does render and after that =
when the Render function is called again (when I move the object or =
rotate it) the rendering disappears.

Anybody has any idea how to resolve this?
