[vtkusers] deleting segments of a polyline

Dear VTK-users,

I have drawn a polyline and I want to enable the user to
delete n line segments at the end of this line. Do I have
to create an actor for each line segment and delete these
actors ? How can I access the polyline after having
displayed it and the termination of the program ?
