[vtkusers] Installing VTK on Linux

Thanks for the response.
Here are the flags that I set with the ./configure command
--with-mesa --with-contrib --with-patented
I got no warning or errors when I compiled vtk after that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you use the --with-mesa switch when you did the ./configure for the
vtk package? It sounds like you missed that.

P.S.: You can execute ./configure --help in the vtk src directory to learn
about other switches that my apply for you installation.
