[vtkusers] what is wrong with pcmaker

I am a novice at VTK. When i run pcmaker.exe, i find out whatever i enter at the space titled "where is vtk", it always displays "unable to find out vtk at ...". I enterted the directory location of my source code, such as: medical1.cxx. What's wrong with pcmaker? By the way, I use NT4.0 and VC++6.0.
