[vtkusers] VTK 4.0 build on Linux using OpenGL

VTK 4.0 does not build with configure, but rather cmake. I am not sure
what you mean by --with-opengl --with-shared, as those flags are not
used with VTK 4.0. The cvs root to VTK 4.0 is:
pserver:user at public.kitware.com:/cvsroot/VTK
(Note the case on the VTK)
