[vtkusers] How to build TCL 8.2.3 with MSVC 6.0 for use with VTK

I can't find out how to build TCL/TK using the MSVC++ 6.0 compiler. Have
tried the makefile.vc but get errors like:

 .\Release\tclWinNotify.obj .\Release\tclWinPipe.obj .\Release\tclW
inSock.obj .\Release\tclWinThrd.obj .\Release\tclWinTime.obj

..\win\tcl. rc 'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external
command, operable program or batch file. NMAKE : fatal error U1077:
'"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\common\ide \bin\rc.exe"' : return
code '0x1' Stop. 

In addition the modfication of the makefile isn't clear to me.

How do I proceed? Is there any guide somewhere. 

I need it to use the VTK source installation with TCL and MSVC 6
