[vtkusers] Cutting and displaying on 2D plane

Hello everyone,
I am looking for some help. I have created a 3D box with some particles in 
it and I want to cut the box in 2D either in xy,yz, or xz plane and project 
this somehow on a 2D plane with the cut particles .Does anyone know if there 
is an example somewhere that can aid in my program?
