Splendid, After I posted my message I flipped through the man pages and saw
it there. Why don't I look before posting?

Looks to be just what I'm after, played with Paint-ShopPro and
thought...hmmmm,some of these different Blending functions are nice. Maybe
if I (or another) experiments with different blending functions we'll
enhance it.
