Offscreen Rendering

Well.. after some detailed testing.. here are results...

When compared to Ensight and VTK doing offscreen and on-screen rendering.

VTK offscreen using PBUFFERS and Ensight god knows what..

<I do not wish provide individual / detailed timings for reasons of
BIASING and  unnecessary advertisement..also cuz I am much more a VTK
fanatic.. >

Ratio of <Time for Offscreen>/<Time for Onscreen> by VTK is 1.66
for Ensight the same ratio is 1.55

One surprising Result was same code written in C++, Tcl and Java under VTK
provided very similar timings.

With Java having very slight lead over C++ and C++ again a slight lead 
over Tcl.

The testing involved rendering 100 images to a PPM file.
