[vtkusers] problem with nightly releases

I have been using the vtk312 core release happily for some time now, but
thought i should move over to the nightly releases for various reasons.
I dont know whether its me or not but i now have a problem with the nightly
intel releases, in particular using tcl. First problem is that the file
associations, after installation, for *.tcl files exepct to use a wish80
from within the nightly releases. Yet the nightly release contains tk82 and
a wish 82. If i set the file associations to use wish 82, then i have
problems with 'catch {load vtktcl}' which returns a value of 1, and from
then on none of the vtk stuff is found.

If i immeaditely restore the 312 release, everyting is fine and the file
association now looks to wish82 in the release folder.

Does that all make sense? Kitware suggested that i had an older version of
Tcl/Tk installed, but i cant see any evidence of that. And also why does
flipping between the 3.1.2/nightly releases, work/not work respectively?

Thanks
