vtkCubeAxesActor2D with vtkRenderLargeImage

Greetings,

I am exploring the use of vtkCubeAxesActor2D (recent VTK nightly release
on NT 4.0SP3). Unfortunately, I need to combine this with
vtkRenderLargeImage for high resolution printing. Now some of the 2D
text drawn by vtkCubeAxesActor2D extends over more than one "subwindow"
drawn by vtkRenderLargeImage. The subwindow containing the left bottom
edge of the text shows its portion of the text string as expected, but
the other "subwindows" do not show the top and right side of this 2D
text. How could I convince vtkTextMapper to draw a portion of 2D text
though the left bottom edge of this text lies outside the displayed
area? Any hint would be greatly appreciated!
