Figure7.5 of VTK book

Hello,

There are four images generated in figure 7.5
They are labelled in the Book CD as volume_mip_ray_function,
volume_average_ray_function, volume_depth_ray_function and
volume_composite_ray_function.

The methods for mip and composite are directly available in VTK but how
were the average and depth images created. Is it necessary to create a
new class based on the MIP ray caster or is it available?
