[vtkusers] flow field

Dear Vtk friends:

   I am a beginner, I want to know how to use VTK to draw fluid speed field, 
for example, I have two files, one is for U component,called" u.dat", grid 
10x10, the other one is for V component,called "v.dat",grid 10x10. The plot 
should reflect the amplitude of volecity and direction,using arrows.

   I wonder if anyone has tried or if there is any example available to 
refer to.
